Have you ever wanted to "peek behind the curtain" and find out how an artist creates their work?  Would you like to meet the artist in their studio and buy directly from them?  Then the annual Wimberley Studio Tour is for you.   Usually occurring in September or October, at each stop on the tour you will meet the studio artist as well as guest artists they've invited into their space. Go behind the scenes to learn a little about how a blank canvas transforms into a painting, a lump of clay into a vessel, a plank of wood into a sculpture, a vision into a reality.  The event is self-paced. Begin at any studio and proceed in any order.    This event is each artist's gift to the community; there is no charge.

WVAL Studio Tour 2025

The Annual WVAL Studio Tour is right around the corner. The tour this year will occur in September (date TBA)  If you’re interested in opening your studio to the public that weekend, please click on the application link below and send your completed application to Jan Fitzhugh. (Jan.Fitzhugh@outlook.com)   We’re looking for studios with ample parking and easy access for the public.

There are a limited number of openings available, so please apply no later than July 1st. This will allow for the publicity to begin as soon as possible. We limit the number of studios on the tour, so everyone on the tour gets optimal traffic.

A 20% commission for all sales will be due to WVAL following the tour. This commission covers the advertising and promotion costs for the event.
