Several Wimberley artists met at Blue Hole Regional Park for their new "Painting with Parks" initiative on Wednesday, March 8. Promoted and planned by Park Director, Richard Shaver, the initiative was created to encourage people to come to and enjoy the city parks. WVAL members (and plein air painters) Tim Donnelly, Tim Leibrock and Jim Street were on hand to guide and assist those who participated.
Painting with Parks will continue in April and May, before a break for the summer. It's a great way to get to know Wimberley and spend time with like-minded people. For more in, or to register, go to the Park and Recreation Website
